Lessons
The Lessons page shows all your tutoring sessions — upcoming and past.
Today's lessons
Your portal home page highlights today's scheduled lessons. Each lesson shows the time, duration, tutor name, and available links. This is the quickest way to see what is coming up.
Upcoming and past lessons
The Lessons page splits into two sections: upcoming lessons (sorted by nearest first) and past lessons (sorted by most recent). Each entry shows the event title, date, time, duration, and status. Past lessons that are marked as completed show a checkmark.
Joining a lesson
How you join depends on the lesson. Online lessons show action buttons on the card: one opens the video call, another the whiteboard, both in a new tab. In-person lessons are marked as such and show where to go, including any arrival instructions your tutor added. If an online lesson shows no link, your tutor has not created one for that session yet.
If a different tutor takes a lesson
Occasionally a tutoring organisation will have a colleague take one or more of your lessons — usually because your tutor is away. The time, the place and everything else about the lesson stay the same, and you are told who it will be. Your plan and your payments do not change, and your usual tutor picks up again afterwards. If the change is permanent, you are told that too.
Files from a lesson
When your tutor shares a file with a lesson — notes from the board, a worksheet, a handout — it appears on that lesson's page and in the Files section of your Notes page, filed under the lesson's name and date. You are emailed when one arrives, unless your tutor chose not to send a notification. Tutors can also keep a file to themselves or their colleagues; those never appear anywhere in your portal.
